A Valentine's Date with Persun

It's that time of year again - Valentine's Day is looming among us. Yes it is definitely a lovely holiday but this year will be the first time I celebrate it as a single lady in four years! I am not at all scared that I will be alone with my cigarettes, in fact I am embracing it. This year I have really learnt to fall in love with myself, as corny as it sounds.

Not expecting a date this year for Valentines, I still think about what would be my idea of a perfect date. I'm not really a wine and dine girl, I know my tastes does not lie in expensive food, classy restaurants or a good wine.
I much prefer an outdoors(y) date - beach, bush walking, mini road trips, sight seeing, eating fruits and sandwiches and enjoying the sun. Then we head out have a good feed in a local area or bring back takeaway and head home to watch movies on a comfortable couch in the lounge room. That's my idea of a perfect date - absolutely laid back, just enjoying each others company and cracking jokes and (possibly) holding hands.

For me this year, Valentine's Day may mean that I will end up doing Leg Day at the gym; picking up a shift at work; or laying in bed watching my favourite Rom Coms and nursing a cup of tea. Regardless of the lack of dates or men, at least I can spoil a day on me, myself and I. Especially if I wear this pretty dress from Persun. It's so so pretty I may just have the best Valentine's Day ever.
