I was fortunate enough to attend the rehearsals of a special new Fashion show coming up this week. This is really special for me because it's for charity. Tamika and Melany have joined forces to raise money so they can travel to Tanzania, Africa on behalf of 'Volunteer Africa' where they will help build medical facilities and construct rain water tanks. WEAR YOUR HEART, a fashion show for charity will raise the money for Tamika and Melany to make a change in the African Community.

Two years ago I stayed in Cambodia with my family at a rural temple and I saw first hand what it was like to live in a country where water was scarce and the medical facilities were limited or even non-existent, so I feel very connected to Tamika's and Melany's purpose and their efforts. 

For the rehearsals, I was able to view Create Cosmetics incredible make-up line and see Charlie Tredway's work. I took snippets of some of the designer clothing being fitted on the models. My shots here were of Evelyn Wong's and I love her textile work. Should be an incredible event that includes 4+ runway shows, cocktails, raffle prizes, and opportunities to meet people and mingle.
