A Groupon Review: A Date Night at The Red Snail

A couple of weeks ago, me and my boyfriend Hughie headed out to Darlinghurst's French restaurant The Red Snail for Date Night. I visited Groupon Australia's website to pick up a special deal voucher. Usually valued at $128 (AUD) I purchased a Groupon Voucher for only $59.00. This redeemed us a three course meal with a Hunter Valley bottle of wine. I saved myself $69.00 thanks to Groupon.

We could choose anything on the menu. For entrees, Hughie and I ate French snails (a first for me!) in garlic butter, and mussels in special tomato based sauce. The mains included Pork Belly in cumin and star anise sauce and Fried lamb shoulder served with noodles in garlic and rosemary. Mains came with roasted vegetables as well.
Of course, dessert was delicious - a smooth Creme Caramel and a French speciality, Mango Bavarois.  And after that delicious bottle of wine... I'd say it was a wonderful night out.
