Home is where the Heart is

Traveling has recently become a big part of my life and contributes to my happiness and well being. My biggest traveling leap was 3 years ago when I quit my job to visit Cambodia, Vietnam, France, London and The Netherlands for three months. That trip, made me stronger and I came back with a mended heart (I was still heartbroken from my last breakup with my boyfriend at the time).

I now travel frequently up and down the NSW coast, to beaches and out west to The Blue Mountains...the world always seem likes a better place after a good trip.

Yet sometimes the best part is returning home. Knowing soon enough that I'd be in the arms of that special someone makes me feel at home instantly. It's warm and cuddly and settles my heart.. 

I have a similar feeling when I head to my favorite hill - I feel at home and in sync with my blog and life. No matter my achievements in life or what ever depressing thing I'm going through, I can head to my hill and settle my heart down and remind myself that I'm home again.
